Senior Technician - Teaching & Research

Responsibilities

To provide technical support to undergraduates, postgraduates, academics and visiting companies. My activities include hosting workshops, facilitating live-events, supporting and advising student/PhD projects and research. I am based at the Minghella Studios, Whiteknights campus and the TAEDS building, London Road campus, overseeing the theatre spaces and the Film & TV Studio.

Areas of interest

Technical fields in film, theatre and television. Specialising in the areas of lighting, sound, film/video (cameras and editing).

Career History

I have a BSc (Hons) in Film and Television Production Technology (Southampton Solent University). Previously I worked in professional theatre for 10 years before progressing into the film industry (filming, editing and cinema operations). I joined the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø in 2009.
