Student working in a lab

Throughout your studies, you will benefit from an extensive range of facilities within the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development.

You'll have access to our farm animal research facilities at the Centre for Dairy Research (CEDAR) and the Meat and Growth Research Unit (MGRU) for projects and practicals, enabling you to see animal science in practice and become well-acquainted with real-world animal production research.

As well as interacting with animals, you'll gain experience of various biochemical and microbiological analysis techniques in our suite of specialist laboratories.
