Background

Dr Amélie DAKOURE is an interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in environmental governance, participatory democracy, and ecological citizenship. She has significant experience in qualitative and participatory research, with applications in climate adaptation, biodiversity governance, and the just transition to net zero. Her work integrates creative and collaborative methods, socio-ecological modelling, and place-based case studies to understand how people and communities engage with environmental change. At the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø, she contributes to the JUST-Systems project, focusing on the expansion of heat networks and their role in delivering a just, inclusive, and sustainable energy transition.
