Responsibilities:

I manage the Teaching and Learning Administration team and oversee our Global Academy programmes.

Areas of interest

I came to the UK to study International Hospitality Management and have since worked in hotels, recruitment, and as an English teacher in Japan. As a former international student myself with a keen interest in language teaching in general and English language teaching in particular, I felt that the Global Academy was the perfect place for me to support new generations of international students.
I attend and am secretary to various committees, Board meetings and Project Groups. I am particularly involved in preparing for our summer Pre-sessional courses and look after extenuating circumstances requests across the Global Academy.
I enjoy travelling and spending time with family and friends (which often goes hand in hand) and rarely leave the house without a book.
