Areas of interest

Trainee Wellbeing: Enhancing the wellbeing of trainees in clinical programmes by fostering compassion towards themselves and others. This training involves techniques such as mindfulness, self-compassion exercises, and compassionate imagery, which help trainees manage stress, reduce burnout, and improve their emotional resilience.

Engagement skills: teaching and supporting the development of skills within trainee's to support the mental health of children and young people (CYP). These skills help build trust, foster open communication, and create a supportive environment for Low Intensity CBT to be effectively implemented.

Working with parents: Supporting parents to feel skilled and confident in supporting their CYP's mental health difficulties, particularly anxiety.
