The ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø was founded on philanthropy.
Significant gifts from local philanthropists provided the land for our campuses, equipped the original classrooms and laboratories, and built our first halls of residence.
They helped to establish ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø as an independent institution with the granting of our Royal Charter in 1926.
Throughout our history, philanthropy has supported our vision and enabled us to innovate and grow. Today, major gifts from individuals and organisations help ensure that we can continue to lead and inspire.
