Areas of interest

My scholarship and research interests include TNE, supporting student transitions to higher education, and technology enhanced learning.  I am currently leading a project on developing EAP assessment literacy in UK-China TNE, as part of a broader UK-China Joint Institute Alliance initiative funded by a British Council Going Global Partnerships grant. 

Background

I have over 20 years experience of teaching and leadership in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), with a focus on international foundation pathways and transnational education (TNE) contexts. I am a University Teaching Fellow and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
