Send an eCard

UoR Rewards introduces a new facility for staff to send e-cards to one another, as a way of non-monetary recognition. A collection of 12 simple cards have been put on the system as a start.
You don’t need to ask for permission to access or use this facility – you can send it to one colleague or select a group of colleagues, just search for their names, type your message and your message can be sent privately. If you would like others to see the message you have sent, you can choose to post it to the Social Wall in the site.

Celebrating Success
A tool for senior leaders to give an on-the-spot monetary reward to colleagues to thank them for a job well done, or for demonstrating positive professional behaviours. UoR Rewards is hosted by Reward Gateway and a Celebrating Success award (named an InstantAward on UoR Rewards) gives five different rewards that can be chosen from, their origin is the Professional Behaviours as it was with the previous platform, but the rewards have been named as follows:
Trailblazer Reward - for achieving results and/or demonstrating commitment to personal development
A Trailblazer consistently meets objectives and success criteria within agreed deadlines. They plan, prioritise and organise workloads to ensure that deadlines are met within resource constraints. They show commitment to personal development and supporting and encourage others to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours.
Service Star Reward - for excellence in service to colleagues or students
A Service Star works to a consistently high standard, providing the best quality service to students or staff or other members of our community. They build genuine and long term relationships to enable success.
Innovator Reward - for innovative solutions
An Innovator uses their unique way of thinking to analyse problems and develop workable solutions to problems or issues that may arise in their line of work.
Change Maker Reward - for embracing and enabling change
A Change Maker embraces change by creating and contributing to a climate that encourages innovation. They see change as an opportunity to challenge the way things are done and by being receptive to new ideas, change things for the better for others.
Collaboration Reward - for teamwork excellence
This reward is given for working cooperatively with others to achieve objectives. They apply a wide range of interpersonal skills, demonstrating respect for others and valuing the diversity of contribution amongst the University community.
