Our guarantee
You will be guaranteed a place in halls for 2026/27 if you are:
- a new full-time undergraduate who holds ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø as a Firm UCAS choice and applies for accommodation by 1 August* and satisfies any conditions of their academic offer by 3 September 2026.**
- a new full-time postgraduate who has accepted an offer from the University and applies for accommodation by 1 August* and satisfies any conditions of their academic offer by 3 September 2026.**
* Please note, you need to apply by 23:59 British Summer Time (UTC+1) on 1 August of your year of entry.
** Subject to restrictions, please see the (PDF – 166KB) and (PDF – 218KB). If you have a conditional Firm offer, then you must meet the conditions of the offer, for example, achieving the required A level grades, in order for the guarantee to apply.
All undergraduate students who put ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø as their insurance choice are guaranteed a place in accommodation.
You will be able to apply for accommodation from Thursday 13 August 2026 (Results Day) if you have an Unconditional Firm offer with us.
The number of rooms available varies from year to year depending on the number of successful applications to the University. We have a range of options available, with currently good availability, and securing a room is highly likely. All accommodation will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will not be able to apply for accommodation until the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø becomes your Firm choice.
